At TickCatcher, we strive to provide the highest quality historical market data. We understand that sometimes things don't work out, and this policy outlines your rights regarding cancellations and refunds.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing cycle.
Digital Goods
By purchasing, you acknowledge immediate access to data and waive your right of withdrawal.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your TickCatcher subscription at any time.
- How to CancelNavigate to your Dashboard > Settings > Billing and click "Cancel Subscription".
- After CancellationYour account will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again.
2. Refund Policy
Strict policy to prevent data hoarding.
- No Refunds on Digital Goods: Since TickCatcher provides immediate access to high-value historical market data, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once you have accessed the API or downloaded data.
- Waiver of Withdrawal Right: By purchasing a subscription, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal (e.g., under EU/UK consumer laws) once access to the digital content has started.
- Data Hoarding Prevention: This policy is strictly enforced to prevent "data hoarding," where users subscribe for a short period to scrape large datasets and then request a refund.
3. Technical Exceptions
We commit to fairness. Refunds may be considered ONLY in the following specific technical circumstances:
- Service Unavailable: If our API availability falls below 99% uptime in a given month.
- Unresolved Bugs: If you encounter a verified critical bug that prevents you from retrieving data, and our Support Team fails to resolve it within 24 business hours of your report.
- Double Charge: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same billing period.
